FSL Mandarin Duck Suncatcher - ITH Project Machine Embroidery Free Standing Lace Birds Design in 2 sizes for hoop 6x8" and 6x10".
The mandarin duck is considered one of the most beautiful birds in the world. The mandarin duck is native for Korea, Eastern Russia, China, Taiwan and Japan. Small exotic-looking duck found at lakes and parks, usually with nearby trees.
The Mandarin duck is a beautifully colored creature, because of its stunning plumage, which is made up of an array of colors.
Mandarin ducks are known for their eye-catching look but only the males have this eye-dazzling appearance, while female mandarin ducks have less eye-catching coloring.

This suncatcher - medallions lace you can use as Suncatcher to decorate your home or used as Christmas ornaments.

Free Standing lace, as the name implies, its a lace that you don't have to stitch on other fabric.
Instruction:

- For stitching FSL designs you need water-soluble stabilizer (looks like fabric I've found to be best, no transparencies look like film). Better result you will have if use 2 layers of stabilizer and hoop them very tight.
- Stitch it as regular design. Use white bobbin thread 60wt. If lace to be seen from both sides, You can use matching color bobbin thread, but I will not recommend it if you do not have 60wt colored thread for bobbin case. Be very careful with it because top thread is usually 40wt, not 60wt as bobbin thread! You will need adjust tension on your machine, if you will use top thread in bobbin case as well. Also, be aware, if you will use both threads 40wt your lace will look heavier. Instead of that you can use invisible thread in bobbin case. Try it! Anyway, avoid to touch the stabilizer as not to loosen the stabilizer tension in hoop as well.
- After stitching remove embroidery from hoop. Cut excessive stabilizer all around the embroidery. Wash embroidery in warm water. Let a dry and iron it (if it require).
