FSL Spring Flowers Cross – ITH Project Free Standing Lace Design in 4 sizes for hoop 5x7", 6x8", 6x10" and 7x11".
The design can be used as a door or window pendant, greeting cards, sun catcher. Springs of flowers such as daffodils, pansies and forget-me-nots are perfect for Easter decoration or other Christian religious projects. The ends (points) of the cross are created in the form of a lily Fleur-de-Lis (also spelled Fleur-de-Lys). This symbol is used as a decorative design, also these lilies are associated with France during the monarchical period and also as a symbol of connection with the Christian religion.

Free Standing lace, as the name implies, its a lace that you don't have to stitch on other fabric.
Instruction:

- For stitching FSL designs you need water-soluble stabilizer (looks like fabric I've found to be best, no transparencies look like film). Better result you will have if use 2 layers of stabilizer and hoop them very tight.
- Stitch it as regular design. Use white bobbin thread 60wt. If lace to be seen from both sides, You can use matching color bobbin thread, but I will not recommend it if you do not have 60wt colored thread for bobbin case. Be very careful with it because top thread is usually 40wt, not 60wt as bobbin thread! You will need adjust tension on your machine, if you will use top thread in bobbin case as well. Also, be aware, if you will use both threads 40wt your lace will look heavier. Instead of that you can use invisible thread in bobbin case. Try it! Anyway, avoid to touch the stabilizer as not to loosen the stabilizer tension in hoop as well.
- After stitching remove embroidery from hoop. Cut excessive stabilizer all around the embroidery. Wash embroidery in warm water. Let a dry and iron it (if it require).
